The Pharr Housing Authority in partnership with Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas, put together an Anger Management minicamp for the Public Housing and Section 8 youth residents. A total of 40 residents attended, ages ranging from 7 to 17 years old. Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas presented the film “Inside Out”. The idea for the film is to portray how emotions work inside a person’s head and at the same time shape a person’s outer life with other people. To ensure our residents understoodthe film, Behavioral Health of South Texas passed out a film questionnaire.These type of services are possible because of community partners like Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas.These services help influence the future growth and development of our residents through education.
