Pharr Housing Authority receives $1.5 Million Grant from YouBuild
Department of Labor generously awarded Pharr Housing Authority with a 1.5-million-dollar check to start The Youth Build Grant program. The Youth Build Grant program will be a 3-year program that will provide vocational skills and certifications for non-High School graduates between the ages of 16-24 in construction and other in demand industries. We will partner with non-profits, educational, trade and governmental organizations to deliver the needed services. This program will be open for our PHA youth residents and to the Hidalgo County.
