We were honored to be around heroes such as the U.S. Army, Pharr Police department, Pharr Fire Department, and Border Patrol Agent.

Pharr Housing Authority had two contestants in the Miss Pharr Scholarship Pageant with Miss Pharr Housing Authority 2023 Ruby Delgado and Miss Pharr Housing Authority 2021 Valentina Martinez sponsored by Summit Signature Properties. Valentina Martinez won Miss Congeniality congratulations! We are so proud of them both.

The Pharr Housing Authority would like to thank the LRGVDC for the $3.088 Millon Grant they received on March 21, 2023. The award was presented to Mayor Ambrosio Hernandez and PHA Executive Director Noel De Leon by Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham, MD.

We are thrilled to share this highlight video of the 2023 Miss Pharr Housing Authority Pageant held on February 16 2023. The video features the amazing winners: Ms. Ruby Delgado, our new Miss Pharr; 1st runner up, Dulce Ramos; and 2nd runner up, Jacquelyn Torres.

On Wednesday December 21, 2022, the Pharr Housing Authority had its Annual Merry Little Christmas Gathering. All residents if the PHA were invited to join us at the Jose Pepe Salinas Civic Center for an afternoon of food and fun. All children who attended received a present and were able to take pictures with Santa Claus himself. We would like to give special thanks to Executive Director Noel De Leon for allowing this event to take place. We would also like to thank the Pharr Police Department for all of their assistance.
