With rapid developments in the field of technology, robotics as a science has also developed in recent years. The Pharr Housing Authority understands the importance of Robotics and in partnership with Sylvian Learning hosted a Robotics minicamp to encourage our Public Housing and Section 8 youth residents to increase their knowledge in the field. A total of 20 residents attended, ages ranging from 7-14 years old. They were introduced to hands on problem solving, collaboration and Robotics design. Resident participant Cesar N, age 9, stated, “I woke up early with excitement ready to attend the Robotics Camp because I love Robotics.”  The Pharr Housing Authority and Sylvan Learning, empowering residents to build a better quality of life.
